A sport with
a long breath.

Vayu is the Sanskrit word for wind. Ta names the thing that travels. Together, VAYUTA is a name for an object that lets you see the invisible.

For generations, play has been a way to study the world: weight, balance, patience, and the space between one gesture and the next.

VAYUTA carries that old intelligence into the present. A square cloth body is framed with four triangular tabs, weighted at the tips, and held by a central grip. When it turns, the geometry opens into a moving compass — part sport, part meditation, part conversation.

Every VAYUTA is reversible: one print on each face, stitched around a balanced center so it can glide from either side. No batteries. No light show. Just fabric, air, and the skill you build by returning to the same motion until it becomes your own.

Learn the first
three minutes.

Give yourself a little space: a clear floor, soft light, and enough room to extend your arm without touching anything. Shoes optional. Curiosity required.

Wake the cloth

Hold the central grip lightly between thumb and forefinger. Let one tab hang. Draw a small circle with your wrist and allow the fabric to follow.

Build a plane

Make the circle wider from your elbow, then your shoulder. Keep the motion smooth and relaxed. The goal is an even plane, not speed.

Change direction

Slow the circle until you can feel the weight return. Reverse with a small inward turn of your wrist. Practice both sides for balance.

Find your phrase

Add a pause, a wrap, a pass from hand to hand, or a turn of your body. Your first sequence is simply three movements you enjoy repeating.
